There were sixteen
renowned Arhats in India. The
Neten Rinpoche’s lineage
can be traced
back to
the 11th Arhat,
named Lam Tran Ten Pharpha LamChung ( Sanskrit name ChudaPantaka ),
Later
on, the Arhat Pharpha LamChung (Chudapantaka)
was reincarnated many times in both India and Tibet as Mahasiddha
Bodhisattvas and became one of the six Neten
disciples of the Great Lama Je Tsongkhapa,
named
Tulku
Neten Kunga Bum.
The 1st
Tulku Neten Kunga Bum BUILT the Jungpa Monastery
in Lithang-Kham, Tibet.
The present His Eminence Tulku Neten Rinpoche Tenzin Gelek was born
just over one year after the passing away of the 8th reincarnated
Tulku Neten Ngawang Lobsang Kunga.
In the year 1986, in the
SeraMey Monastery in South India, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama graciously
enthroned the present Tulku Neten Rinpoche Tenzin Gelek as the 9th
reincarnation of
the Tulku Neten's lineage, the HIGHEST THRONE HOLDER LAMA
of the Jungpa
Monastery in Lithang-Kham region, Tibet.
His Eminence Tulku Neten Rinpoche secured the highest Geshe
Lharampa Degree (Ph.D in Buddhist Sutra Studies) from the
SeraMey Monastic University in India and soon
afterwards, he joined the Gyumed Tantric
Monastery for higher Tantric studies. After strenuous studies
and practice, he appeared for the final examination in the presence
of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Abbots of Gyumed and other
monasteries. He received the
advanced degree of Ngagrampa
(Highest degree in Tantric Studies),
then accepted the position
of Discipline Master and taught at the Gyumed Tantric Monastery.
Later on he went back and taught Dharma to sanghas at the SeraMey
Monastic University.
Since the year 2006,
His Eminence The 9th Tulku
Neten Rinpoche Tenzin Gelek has been residing in Toronto, Canada but travels
extensively across the globe for public talks and giving teachings
to religious, educational, healthcare and social institutions.
From the
year 2003 to 2009, the present His Eminence The 9th Tulku
Neten Rinpoche Tenzin Gelek COMPLETELY REBUILT his nine lifetimes Jungpa
Monastery
which has been previously destroyed.
From the year 2014-2017, a
Prayer Hall (Nyungne
Lhakhang) has been supported to build by His Eminence Tulku
Neten Rinpoche, next to the Jungpa monastery, for
people in Jungpa-Lithang to pray and practise.
On April 4, 2024:
His Eminence Tulku
Neten Rinpoche was appointed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai
Lama as His Eminence Kgyabje

TENZIN GELEK, the 92nd Abbot
of the SeraMey Monastery
in India.
The Enthronement Ceremony will be held on June 24,
2024 in the SeraMey Monastery.

After a few years supporting
the Jungpa Monastery which has been newly rebuilt, His Eminence
Tulku Neten Rinpoche built a NEW PRAYER
HALL (Nyungne
Lhakhang) next to his
nine lifetimes Jungpa monastery, for
people in Jungpa-Lithang to pray and practise. As the THRONE
HOLDER LAMA of Jungpa-Lithang,
His Eminence Tulku Neten Rinpoche
sponsored to construct a new Hall, including a Prayer
hall, a big kitchen and rooms for people to stay, pray,
take retreats and do various Dharma activities. This place belongs to his nine lifetimes Jungpa monastery.

disciples
met
with His Holiness The Dalai Lama
at the Sera monastery in South India, received
his blessings, advices to practice, and new instructions to do in the
future. His Holiness specially gave a STATUE OF BUDDHA SHAKYA
MUNI to
His Eminence Tulku Neten Rinpoche.
This statue is now kept in the Jam Tse Cho Ling Dharma Centre-Toronto,
CANADA
Ngài Tulku Neten
Rinpoche và các đệ tử gặp Đức Dalai Lama
tại tu viện Sera ở miền nam Ấn Độ, được Ngài gia trì, chỉ giáo để

Khamtsen's Prayer Hall in SeraMey monastery, India.
