THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE BUDDHA : Organized by the Sanghas of the SeraMey Monastery to support the monastery - PHÁP HÔI TU TẬP ĐỨC PHẬT DƯỢC SƯ được tổ chức bởi Tăng đoàn của Tu Viện SeraMey để hộ trì tu viện

 

Since the time of its inception in the seventeenth century by the regent of H.H. the 7th Dalai Lama Gyaltsab Demo (1723-1777), the extensive worship service for the Medicine Buddha Bhaisajya Guru Vaiduryabharaja has been a unique tradition observed by Sera Mey Dratsang for more than two hundred and fifty years. The benefits of this Medicine Buddha ritual are said to include promoting the Buddha's teaching and the general welfare of society, as well as promoting the health of those who are living and providing an opportunity to dedicate virtue for the benefit of those who are deceased.
